I create...: Art with SOUL...with a little sassy sauce on the side. I also paint recycled furniture and make recycled lamps, trophies for out of the ordinary award needs, fountains, memory boxes (out of vintage train cases and vintage silverware boxes), wall sculptures, altered books, collage with paper and fabric, mixed media, magnets, fetish dolls and found object art. There is a lot more, but I think you get the picture, I am proudly creativly insane. I love it all, so I do it all. I am self taught and self representing. I collect everything and love to hunt down the best stuff (some say trash, I say art project).
In painting, I use oils for the most part, and I seem to be addicted to shiny things, which includes glitter. Yes, my name is Heather and I use giltter in my fine art. :) I've been a full time artist for 11 years, I have sold work to private patrons in 12 countries and 22 US states, and honestly I have never been happier. I am married and have three sons, 2 dogs and one very bad kitty.
